Juan Camilo Cardona‘s current research interests are mainly focused on Network optimization; Metro and Transport networks; Inter-domain Routing; Techno-economical analysis.
Short biography
Juan Camilo graduated from the University Santo Tomás in Colombia as a Telecommunications Engineer. In 2008 he received a M.Sc. in Communications Engineering from Technische Universität München, in Germany. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Telematics Engineering at University Carlos III of Madrid. He is now working on the project "BGP Route Servers: scaling and convergence" funded by a Cisco University Research Program grant. Before joining Institute IMDEA networks, Juan Camilo worked for several years at Internet Service Providers and Network Integrators. During his time as a student in Munich, he undertook an Internship with Nokia Siemens Networks.
